| Project: Utility Plant Location: Singapore ECG type: DALI RC Advanced CI; QT-DALI T/E 2 x 26-42w; DD/E 26w/830 Utility Plant: - DALI Advanced Dimming System for Room Control Senoko Utility Plant, one of Singapore's largest power generating company, sits at the northern edge of the country and meeting 30 percent of the nation's energy demand daily. This is the place where the first DALI lighting system in the Asia Pacific Region was installed. The retrofitting project was carried at the multi-purpose function hall to replace the high loss dimmable incandescent lighting system with compact fluorescent lamp, where the dimmability and the warm cozy effect of the original lighting system were retained. This multi-purpose hall carries the tasks of holding lessons, training and workshops for their internal staffs. At times, it would hold seminars and various in-house functions or commemorative events. The entire lot of old fixture was replaced by the SITECO twin-lamps down-light using lamp type DD/E 26w/830, coupling with QT-DALI T/E 2 x 26-42w multi-watt control gear. The lamp color was chosen to retain a cozy and warm atmosphere. The owner was impressed by the end result, especially the flexibility of light grouping, scene setting and group overlapping whereby no sophisticated software and hardware required. back |
